Keeping your appointments
Because of demand, we sometimes have to close our list to new clients, but when we are able to offer a counselling space, and your availability matches, we will contact you.
After an initial intake assessment appointment you are given a day and time when one of our counsellors will see you regularly.
Counselling for the client involves a high level of commitment and it is important for your own wellbeing to attend appointments as arranged with your counsellor.
Repeated cancellations make it difficult to reserve appointments. However, if you do need to cancel your appointment because of sudden illness or some other reason, we ask that you let Off The Record know as soon* as you possibly can.

*We regret that if you do not contact us to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment, we will ask you to make a donation for that session.

Do not fill out the online application form when the list is closed as it will not be put on to our system.
