We are always looking for experienced counsellors to join our team.
If you believe counselling should be accessible to everyone including those who would not normally be
able to access therapy for themselves due to cost then we would love to hear from you.
While with OTR you can expect:
- A small fee
- Free monthly Group Supervision
- A supportive team environment
- Discounted OTR provided CPD courses/training
What we expect in return:
- Take on at least 3 clients
- Reliability, especially with regard to keeping your client appointments
- Integrity
- The ability to work within boundaries.

Trainee Counsellors
At Off The Record we offer a limited number of places for trainee counsellors where you can gain the
practice hours you need to complete your course while working with a supportive team of experienced counsellors.
While training with OTR you can expect:
- A small fee to help with supervision/training costs (after a 6 month probationary period).
- Group Supervision
- Some individual supervision, although your course may well require additional hours
- Discounted OTR provided CPD courses/training
What we expect in return:
- Take on at least 3 clients
- A commitment to learning
- Reliability, especially with regard to keeping your client appointments
- Integrity
- The ability to work within boundaries.
